Dr. Jarrell graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. He has been an active member of his profession, serving on the Board of Trustees for the Southwest Council of Optometry, the New Mexico Optometric Association, and various committees of the American Optometric Association. His professional journey includes five years of service in the United States Army, with tours of duty in Korea, Kosovo, and the Army’s elite 101st Airborne Division.
